GIVEAWAY: Bluegrass for Babies in Eden Park September 17

September 7, 2016 By Shannanb

B4B 1One of our favorite events of the year is back! Bluegrass for Babies is returning to their roots at Seasongood Pavilion in Eden park for the annual fundraising concert on Saturday, September 17.

The concert is a fun time for all- there’s great bluegrass music, delicious local food & drinks, activities for the kids, and space to run around. Best of all? The money goes to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. All-around an awesome day.

This year’s concert lineup features Hocking River String Band at 3pm, and returning local bands, Comet Bluegrass All-Stars at 5pm and Hickory Robot at 7pm. Special guest Jennifer Ellis will perform her popular children’s songs at 4pm.

Because everyone loves pizza, Dewey’s will be there serving up their delicious pies and salads. 100% of the proceeds will go to the donation to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. For the adults, MadTree will be there as the official beer sponsor.

B4B 2Money raised at the concert will be donated to the Perinatal Institute at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. The Perinatal Institute combines the latest advances in clinical care, research technology, and provides highly specialized care to newborns facing devastating medical conditions. Due to research expertise, innovation, and partnership with families, 95% of the fragile babies cared for by the Perinatal Institute go home with their families.

Tickets for the Bluegrass for Babies benefit concert are $15  through September 16, and $20 on the day of the concert. Children are admitted for free. Tickets are limited due to the space available at Seasongood Pavilion, and the event is expected to sell out. Tickets can be purchased online at www.bluegrassforbabies.com.
