The Behringer Crawford Museum in Devou Park has a lot of great things going on. They have an awesome collection of items to tell the history of Northern Kentucky, they have hands on activities for kids, in the winter they have a fantastic train display, and soon they will have a Nature Playscape on their grounds. On top of all this they also host children’s birthday parties! I did not realize until recently that the Behringer Crawford Museum was available for parties.
We attended a birthday party at the Behringer Crawford Museum and the kids loved it! And their mother the teacher loved it because it wasn’t just fun and games…it was educational! They learned about Kentucky natural history, investigated fossils and bones, created their own trilobite, played a fun game and of course enjoyed good eats brought by the family throwing the party. If you are looking for a fun place to host a party I recommend the Behringer Crawford Museum for a unique celebration experience.
