We’re excited to help Izzy’s celebrate National Sandwich Day on November 3! What a tasty way to spend a Tuesday!

Everyone has a favorite sandwich – ham and swiss on rye? Turkey and cheddar on sourdough? Dagwood style with a little of everything? Grilled cheese, club…reuben? It can be hard to pick sometimes, and it really depends on your mood, too. That’s why we love Izzy’s and why it’s a hometown favorite. It doesn’t matter what you’re in the mood for, they’ve got it – and if it’s not on the menu, that’s okay…they’ll make it for you anyway because they make every sandwich fresh to order so you can customize any way you like!

That got us thinking – what better way is there to celebrate National Sandwich Day than a stop by Izzy’s for your favorite sandwich! Never been to Izzy’s? Really?! You are seriously missing out! Here’s a little about Izzy’s:Izzys-logo copy

Founded in 1901 by the Kadetz family, Izzy’s was the first Kosher style delicatessen west of the Alleghenies. Consistently named the “Best Deli in Cincinnati,” and known as the home of the “World’s Greatest Reuben,” Izzy’s still serves the classic homemade recipes Izzy Kadetz was handed down from his father, dating back to 1901.

If you haven’t had a World’s Greatest Reuben and potato pancake, you haven’t lived! And those pickles, though! I mean – they are perfection in every way! Just try to look at these sandwich pics without drooling – I dare you:

    Any other their reubens. The veggie rueben is actually really tasty when you’re craving something a little different.

    I like the traditional reuben–but with the lean corned beef. Makes me wish every day was sandwich day!
