The Taste of Kenton County presented by the Kenton County Public Library

Taste postcard cover lgWe love supporting the wonderful local organizations and businesses in our community, so you can imagine our delight when we were invited to attend the Taste of Kenton County, a fundraiser for the Kenton County Public Library on August 27th.  Not only will the funds raised at this event help one of our awesome local libraries, but attendees get to taste culinary delights from many local restaurants!  The kids will be back in school and this will be a perfect way to have a nice night out while giving back to the community.  Schedule a date with your significant other or gather up your friends for a night out…you are not going to want to miss this!

The Taste of Kenton County: 

Taste of KC photosWhat: The Taste of Kenton County Fundraiser, presented by the Kenton County Public Library Foundation – Enjoy food by the bite from area restaurants, wine, silent auction, book buy, split the pot, live music, food demonstrations and much more. A few of the restaurants featured include Piper’s Café, Molly Malone’s, Texas Roadhouse and Sugar Snap Cupcakes. An autographed Xavier basketball, Xavier tickets, Corvette Museum tickets, restaurant gift cards and a food basket are just a few of the auction items. Adults only.

 

When: Thursday, August 27 from 6-8:30 p.m.

 

Where: Erlanger Branch, 401 Kenton Lands Road, Erlanger

 

KCPL Silent AuctionWhy: To raise money for Library programs and services that are not covered by the Library budget, including kindergarten kits for every kindergartener in Kenton County.

 

Cost: $25 in advance at http://www.kentonlibrary.org/taste or $35 at the door, includes food by the bite, while supplies last, wine, tea, water and entertainment

 

Entertainment:

Music by Pedal Steel Trio 

Pickled Brothers (strolling entertainers)

Demonstration by Colonel De
