4th Annual Brazee Street School of Fish Exhibit- GIVEAWAY

May 28, 2014 By FFCStaff

Brazee Street School of Fish exhibit returns to gallery One One in FISHPictureJune and you and your little fish can be a part of the fun!

We are big Brazee Street Studio fans and love any excuse we can find to get creative with our kids.  Their SOG (School of Glass) Family Open House and kids classes are wonderful ways to do something unique and fun with your kids with the added benefit of taking home a wonderful keepsake of your time spent together.

Brazee Street Studios is excited to present the 4th annual School of Glass Kids Gallery Exhibition Brazee Street School of Fish. Opening on Friday, June 13, the exhibition will feature over 300 fused glass fish created by local students in grades K-12.  What a wonderful way to kick off a Summer that promises to be full of Sun & Fun!

During the month of June families have a chance to bring their child in for a Family Open House and create their own one-of-a-kind fish that can be added to the School of Fish exhibit while it resides at gallery One One.  Many fish have already been created by students with Artsy Fartsy Saturdays, Colerain High School, Dater Montessori, Evendale Elementary School, Finneytown High School, Guardian Angels School, Madisonville Education and Assistance Center at John P. Parker School, Mercy Montessori, Our Lady of Visitation School, and Rothenberg Perparatory Academy.  All they need now is YOU!

Family Open House sessions take place on Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM.  Once complete, fish are placed in the exhibit which runs through July 26 in gallery One one. There will be a free opening reception on Friday, June 13 and a second reception on Friday, July 11, both from 6-9pm.

The opening reception is being held in conjunction with Open Studios at Brazee Street Studios.  In addition to viewing the exhibition, attendees that evening will have the chance to browse and shop over 20 professional artist studios.
