It’s the sparkliest time of year! Time for holiday light displays to start popping up across Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. How can you not feel the holiday spirit when looking at all of the twinkling strands of lights and creativity someone has put into a light display? It’s made solely for the purpose of bringing others joy. We’re so very fortunate for having some wonderful displays out and about right here in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

The Christmas Ranch – Morrow

Sunday through Thursday – 5PM to 9PM and Friday and Saturday – 5PM to 10PM
Closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
Admission: $15 per vehicle

A whimsical place with 1 million dancing Christmas Lights synchronized to holiday music. Truly an old fashioned family experience. In addition to the lights, stroll through six Christmas Shops, enjoy treats from Santa’s Bakery and Cafe  and enjoy Train & Wagon Rides. Holiday in Lights – Sharon Woods

Sunday-Thursday 6PM-9PM, Friday & Saturday 6PM-10PM.

“One of Cincinnati’s most celebrated holiday events returns to Sharon Woods! Holiday in Lights brings together the magic and wonder of the season, with thousands of twinkling lights and holiday cheer! Visitors will enjoy a mile of festive light displays that wind through wooded hills in Sharon Woods…all from the warmth of their car. ”

Admission is $13.00 per car or $45.00 for buses or vans with more than 15 passengers. (Download a $2 off coupon.) 

While you’re there, be sure to park your car by the Sharon Centre and head in to check out Santaland:

November 21st to 23rd, and November 28th-December 23rd.
Hours: 6 to 9PM Sunday through Thursday, and from 6 to 10PM on Friday and Saturday. There is no additional admission fee to visit Santaland.

“Visitors can venture out of their cars and warm up with a cup of their favorite holiday beverage inside Santaland and enjoy entertainment provided throughout the week. The Dickens Carolers stroll throughout Santaland on the weekend nights singing traditional holiday melodies. Santa’s Confectionaries have holiday baked goods and candies available, and the Nature’s Niche Gift Shop is open for holiday shopping. Also featured is a holiday train display and photos with Santa starting at $6.75.”

Sunday – Thursday – 5PM – 9PM, Friday & Saturday – 5PM – 10PM
Closed Thanksgiving (open during the day), Christmas Eve (open during the day) and Christmas Day (closed all day).

Light Up Middletown – Smith Park, Middletown

Hours: 6-10PM; Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus every Friday & Saturday 7-9PM thru Dec 20; Open all holidays

Guests set their own price for admission.

Smith Park is located on Tytus Avenue just off Verity Parkway (SR4). The park is adjacent to Middletown Regional Airport.

“Enter through the tunnel of lights to enjoy a sparkling fantasyland. Light up Middletown is a driving tour through a 100 acre park. Several themed displays include a floating Sea Serpent in the reflecting lake, Santa’s Workshop, American Flag, Penguin Village, Deer Leaping Over the Roadway, Helicopter, Whales and much more – all with thousands of twinkling animated lights. The fun expands every year. This year, an addition loop with the 12 days of Christmas displays will add even more delight.”

Light Up The Levee Newport

Shows begin every evening at 6:10PM and last until 11:50PM
Newport on the Levee, Newport, KY
Featuring more than one million LED lights dancing in synchronization to holiday music. Lights dance every 20 minutes.
 

Christmas Town – Creation Museum – Petersburg, KY
