FFC Behind the Scenes -> Meet Susan

Over the past few months, and in the months to come we would like to take you behind the scenes at Family Friendly Cincinnati and introduce you to the fabulous ladies who write for this blog.  Over the years we have all shared with you some of our favorite things to do and see around town.  Now we want to take a moment with a little Q&A to let you get to know us each a little more!

Family Friendly Contributor: Susan

My Family: Husband Jerry, daughter Cassie (6), son James (3) and dog Merc

Started writing for Family Friendly Cincinnati: 2009

About Me: I’m a working mom and wife to a consumer tech journalist/photographer, Jerry Jackson. We live in West Chester, where I grew up. My day job is copywriting for Rockfish in Cincinnati. I also consult with small businesses and nonprofits on social media and digital marketing.

Where you can find me on the web: My blog is Working Moms Against Guilt . I’m also a pretty heavy social media “enthusiast” (some might say addict), so you’ll often find me on Facebook , Twitter , LinkedIn , Pinterest  and Google Plus.

Our family’s favorite restaurant: Frisch’s Big Boy

Our family’s favorite local hangout: Book Bums in West Chester

This business/organization is important to our family: First Unitarian Church of Cincinnati

How I spend my “Mama” time (when I can find the time): Getting a pedicure at Zoom’s Nails in Mason, grabbing coffee with a girlfriend, reading an ebook on my Kindle, blogging, enjoying a nice glass of Cabernet or Shiraz

Favorite place to shop with (or for) the kids: Little Sprouts Boutique in Mason

When I’m not blogging you’ll find me: Playing with my kids or catching up on my favorite AMC series (which is pretty much all of them)

A local non-profit that is close to my heart: Planned Parenthood – Southwest Ohio

 My favorite blogs to read:
