Did we mention LEGO KidsFest is coming to town?

March 9, 2012 By FFCStaff

{Giveaway Closed}

Congratulations Tamatha B. who was chosen as the winner for this giveaway – check your email Tamatha!

If you’ve been living under a rock the last few weeks, you might have missed word that the awesome LEGO KidsFest is coming to Cincinnati this month.  The greatest brick layers will soon be here to dazzle and delight and make you wonder “Oh my goodness, how this they come up with that?!”

The whole crew at Family Friendly is totally stoked about this event. Selfishly, I can’t wait to unleash Parker on Duke Energy Convention Center where she can LEGO herself silly and *I* won’t have to clean them up.  And I imagine there will be a brick or two in my creative hands before the day is out.

As we’ve mentioned before, LEGO KidsFest kicks off  Friday, March 23rd and runs through Sunday March 25th. There are five sessions to choose from and this is literally the hottest ticket in town for Cincinnati families.

When we first posted about LEGO KidsFest, we offered free tickets to one lucky family.  So many of you entered, the nice folks at Lego gave us an extra family pack!  And believe it or not they have given us ANOTHER four-pack to give away for opening night on March 23rd.

You can enter one of three ways:

  • Leave a comment here telling us what you’d build and why if you hade unlimited Lego bricks and unlimited talent
  • Share this giveaway with your Facebook friends
  • Tweet about this giveaway on Twitter

For each entry be sure to leave a separate comment here.  Good luck!  We’ll draw a winner NEXT FRIDAY (3/16) at HIGH NOON!

In the meantime, feel free to check out LEGO KidsFest on Facebook for updates on the event.

    Unlimited blocks? Unlimited talent? This would have (and probably still is) my brother Alex’s dream. I could probably scale Everest barefoot after all the Lego blocks I’ve stepped on over the years, though I know that reaching the summit wouldn’t bring me half the satisfaction that watching my brother learn and build and create does.

    If we had unlimited blocks and unlimited talent, I would want my brother and I to reconstruct SpongeBob Squarepants’s under-the-sea pineapple, complete with a Lego-fied Gary the snail.

    Both the show and Legos are priceless memories that my brother and I share, and to bring them together would be amazing.

    With unlimited Legos (and my husbands building abilities) we would build a dog house. That’s right, a big dog house. We once saw a show that an entire house including the furniture was built out of legos. It was amazing! So, a dog house could work. It would bring new meaning to “being in the dog house.” LOL

My 17 yr old just built a lego city for a school project last week and got 85/65 points! a single mom and I also have 3 foster sons. They would all love to go but I can’t afford all those tickets.
