December Break Camp Anyone?

December 14, 2009 By FFCStaff

Who says camp is only for the Summer? Is the thought of trying to figure out how to keep your kids happy and busy during the holiday break making you feel a bit frazzled? Would you like to give them a day away to play, run around like crazy things, maybe swim and not destroy your house? But maybe your budget is tight and camp doesn’t seem an option.  Well, I’ve got a great solution for you!

My daughter came home from school about a week ago with a postcard for Camp Chabad which is held at Kids First in Blue Ash.  If you’ve never been to the Kids First facility, then you and your kids are in for a treat. It’s huge with lots of cool things for kids to do including soccer, swimming and gymnastics just to name a few of the possible acitivities.

The cost is $29 per child per day. This includes a lunch (which is kosher).  Camp runs from 9:30 – 3:30 most days.

My kids are going for one day to help give them something fun to do and give me a chance to paint a bedroom (I think they’re getting the better deal!).

I registered on-line and there was a slight glitch. I called the main number and left a message asking for assistance. I got a return call the same day and the problem was fixed.  The morning after I registered I received a confirmation e-mail.

Anyone is welcome regardless of religious preference. I think this will be a great opportunity for my children to interact with other children with a different culture and beliefs than ours.

This sounds great. With winter keeping the boys inside more I am always looking for new ways to entertain them. Thanks for sharing!
