Celebrate Easter in Cincinnati and NKY

Easter is just around the corner and with that comes the true arrival of spring, Easter egg hunts, and of course the Easter Bunny. We have rounded up several fun events in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky that the whole family can enjoy during this holiday.

 

What: PlayArt- Egg-citing! At the William E. Durr Branch of the Kenton County Library

When: April 13 from 1:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m and 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m, April 14 from 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Details: Listen to a story and make a pretty egg. Open to the fist 40 kids who arrive and are between 2-6 years old.

 

What: Easter Bunny Photos at Kenwood Towne Centre

When: April 12 and 13 from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., April 14 and 15 from 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Details: Get your photo with the Easter Bunny at the Kenwood Mall.

 

What: Easter Bunny Photos at Liberty Center

When: April 12 and 13 from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., April 14 and 15 from 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Details: Get your photo with the Easter Bunny at Liberty Center in the Foundry.

 

What: Adventure Club: Outdoor Easter Egg Hunt

When: April 13 from 4:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Details: Kids from grades 1-5 can come to the Cold Spring Branch of the Campbell County Public Library to win candy, stickers, and books.

What: Easter Celebration at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden

When: April 15 from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Details: An egg-citing event for children that includes treat stations throughout the park, children’s activities, popular animal egg hunts and visits with the Easter Bunny. There will be four “Golden Eggs” hidden around the Zoo.  If you find one turn it in at the Welcome Center for one of four great prizes.

 

What: Spring Fling! Stories, Crafts & Games!

When: April 15 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Details: Hear spring poems, write your own poems, and decorate and hunt for eggs at the Pleasant Ridge Branch of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County. Snacks will also be provided.

 

What: Montgomery Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt

When: April 15 at 10:00 a.m. — Arrive by 9:45 a.m.

Details: Kids can hunt for Easter eggs and enter to win prizes.

 

What: Super Saturday: Easter Egg Hunt!

When: April 15 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.

Details: Come to the Newport Branch of the Campbell County Public Library and take pictures with the visiting Easter Bunny from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Crafts and games will be from  2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Please remember to bring your camera for pictures! The Easter Egg Hunt will begin after crafts and games wrap up and will be staggered by ages.

 

What: The Bunny Hop!

When: April 15 at 11:00 a.m. and April 16 at 3:00 p.m.

Details: Kids can visit businesses along Fairfield Avenue in Bellevue to receive Easter Eggs filled with surprises and treats. The Easter Bunny and his side kick Carrot will be around to snap a photo with and pass out candy. Kids can dress up and there will be face painters to decorate their faces as chicks, bunnies, and more.

What: Youth Egg Hunt at Riverside Park

When: April 15 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Details: Kids will be divided into 4 age groups and given the chance to hunt for eggs and then turn them in for prizes.

 

What: 4th Annual Operation Egg Drop

When: April 15 from 12:15 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Details: Over 50,000 Easter eggs will be dropped onto the New Richmond High School football field by helicopter. Kids in 5th grade and younger are welcome to participate.

 

What: Sensory Friendly Easter Egg Hunt

When: April 15 from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Details: An Easter egg hunt for those with sensory issues will happen at the Miami Riverview Park. Often large crowds and loud music can be too overwhelming for kids on the Autism spectrum and this event will be catered to their needs. There will be a candy exchange for eggs, mentors, tents for sensory regulation, and of course the Easter Bunny.

 

What: Easter Egg Hunt at Devou Park

When: April 15 at 1:00 p.m.

Details: Kids can hunt for Easter eggs, meet the Easter Bunny, participate in storywalks, and more. Festivities start at 1 and the Easter Egg Hunt will be at 2. Be sure to bring your own baskets.

 

What: Easter Sunday: Enjoy and Early Morning with the Butterflies

When: April 16 from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Details: Celebrate Easter Sunday with the whole family at Krohn Conservatory and purchase refreshments and enjoy the annual butterfly show, the Majestic Monarch, happening right now.

 

What: North College Hill Easter Egg Hunt

When: April 16 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Details: All ages can join and enjoy an Easter egg hunt at North College Hill Junior/Senior High School.
