Last week we got a chance to check out the brand new Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant in LibertyCenter and let us tell you – we were impressed! Having visited the Kenwood location, we knew we’d be in for a treat and we weren’t disappointed. It’s a great spot for a much needed escape from the daily grind with a few friends for a glass of wine or your sweetheart for a date night.
The newest Cooper’s Hawk, open for lunch and dinner, comes complete with indoor and outdoor dining space, with seating for up to nearly 300 guests. There is a unique wrap around bar feature that allows for outdoor seating on nice days and serves wine flights, craft beers, specialty cocktails, small entrées, and even full course meals.
Of course, Cooper’s Hawk is most well known for delicious menu and wine, crafted in its own winery, with grapes sourced from vineyards all over the globe. Cooper’s Hawk wines have won more than 400 awards so you definitely will want to get a glass of your favorite varietal when you visit. The menu is full of dishes that will satisfy all types of palates, and the wine comes with a handy guide and bin numbers so you won’t have any trouble pairing the perfect wine and entrée together.
There’s a large, private event space that can be divided into smaller spaces as well, making it the perfect setting for family gatherings or work outings. On the way out, be sure to grab your favorite Cooper’s Hawk wine from the retail store and sign up to be apart of the Wine Club Membership. One of the country’s largest Wine of the Month Clubs, subscribers are privy to monthly wines, special discounts, invites to special events, rewards, and annual domestic and international wine trips.
The location at Liberty Centers offers a unique and walkable atmosphere. Mixed in among shops and other restaurants, Cooper’s Hawk has the perfect setting to host a full day of fun or simply a relaxed and romantic date night. You’ll definitely want to call up the babysitter for a day or night out at Liberty Center with a stop at Cooper’s Hawk.
During my time at the event I grew more and more excited for the official opening to take place and am thrilled that it is now officially open to the public. From the delicious food and wine, to the unique and inviting atmosphere and the welcoming and knowledgeable staff, I couldn’t recommend a place for wining and dining more than I do Cooper’s Hawk.
