Kenton County Library Hosts Mother-Daughter Dates

February 2, 2012 By Shannanb

At our house, my husband and I try to go on individual “dates” with our children at least 1x a month. It’s a time when they get some one on one time with us and we do something special just with them.  We are always looking for fun ideas, and while my children are not girls, for those of you with daughters, I wanted to share two upcoming Mother-Daughter Date events the Erlanger Branch of the Kenton County Library is hosting:

Take time for some mother-daughter bonding! Mothers and their daughters (ages 12 and up) are invited to join us on the second Wednesday of each month for a special craft activity. This month, join us as we turn festive paper into a beautiful Valentine’s wreath. All materials and supplies provided. This program is taught by library friend and crafting mom Anna Baker. Registration required. Please call 859-962-4002 or go online at www.kentonlibrary.org/events to register.

Take time for some mother-daughter bonding! Mothers and their daughters (ages 12 and up) are invited to join us on the second Wednesday of each month for a special craft activity.  This month, join us as we usher in spring a little early with fabric/felt flowers to wear or share.  All materials and supplies provided.  This program is taught by library friend and crafting mom Anna Baker. Registration required.

Both of these offerings are FREE and taught by library patron and long-time crafting mom, Anna Baker. To register for either of these classes call 859-962-4002 or you can go online at www.kentonlibrary.org/events. These classes will fill up so don’t wait to long to sign up if you’re interested.
