Way North Sports: Kickball anyone?

August 10, 2010 By FFCStaff

Remember the days when kickball reigned supreme and getting a game of wiffle ball going was all you needed to keep you busy for an afternoon?  If you are fondly reminiscing about days gone by and would like to rekindle some of that childhood fun then take a look at all that Way North Sports has to offer.  Way North Sports has sports to satisfy the child in all of us.  You can join one of their leagues and enjoy kickball, beach volleyball, wiffle ball, flag football, dodge ball and basketball.  Most of the leagues are co-ed so both Mom & Dad can get out there and have a great time (you have to be 21 years or older to play).

Visit www.waynorthsports.com for more information and to see how you can join one of these fun sports leagues. Most leagues are only $45 for an individual or if you get enough friends for a team, then team rates are $300.  Games are usually scheduled once a week and the “season” lasts about 8 weeks. Even though the leagues are geared for adults, you can always bring your kids to one of the games to help cheer you along.  Your kids will probably be your biggest fans not to mention they’ll make you feel better if you missed that crucial kick ball kick and I don’t think you’ll find many of them talking back to the referees.

The Way North Sports crew wants you to have fun while getting some exercise. They have social events planned throughout the year and participate in some great fundraisers for worthy causes.   They are supporting the non-profit, Feel Your Boobies® to help remind women to do self breast exams and to raise awareness about breast cancer.  They are hosting a Flip Cup Tournament at the Fox & Hound in Mason on August 14th to help support Feel Your Boobies.

I’m sure you’ve already guessed that Way North Sports has league play North of Cincinnati.  They draw players from Mason, West Chester, Liberty Township, and are hoping to expand their base of players and welcome anyone to come join in the fun. You can find Way North Sports on Facebook or visit their website for more information. Call (513)907-3366 or email: [email protected].
