The Best Places to Have Brunch in Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky

March 8, 2014 By FFCStaff

There are many places to have brunch in Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky, and since breakfast+lunch is my favorite meal, I’ve decided to put together a list of great spots to have brunch in our area.  Some restaurants on this list are fancy, while some are greasy spoons.  There are places that serve unique menu creations, and some that serve good old fashioned eggs, hashbrowns and toast.  There’s something for every palate on this list.  Pin this list, and use it when you need to find the perfect place for brunch.  Hopefully this list will inspire you to find a new place to have brunch!

ps…I’ve noticed when putting this together that while the kids are in school each day Henry and I do got out for breakfast quite a bit, as evidenced by the amount of pictures I have of him eating 😉

The Best Places for Brunch in Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky:

Anchor Grill

Everyone’s favorite greasy spoon in Covington: We may doze but we never close!  Play the jukebox and watch Barbie & her band rock & roll on the bandstand.  **note: they have “smoke free” hours during the day, but allow smoking at night.

Izzy’s

Several locations around town – check your local Izzy’s to see if they serve breakfast and what their hours are.  The Fort Wright location serves breakfast, bagels, cinnamon rolls and breakfast sandwiches.  I love it because they pair the breakfast sandwiches with a potato pancake.

Great list! Must add my favorite … The Avenue Brew in Bellevue on Fairfield Ave. Many think it’s just a coffee joint but they have a very big menu for breakfast and lunch: breakfast casserole, quiche, english muffin sandwiches. Their jumbo muffins are the best around! For lunch, I always get their reuben, cajun chicken salad or french onion soup.
