WUTW RedWhiteBlue

It’s a three day weekend!  Aside from all of the great events and activities going on around town, there’s a certain excitement in the air because the school year is coming to a close, the neighborhood pools are opening up and ice cream trucks are circling the streets.  Summer is upon us!

Since it is a holiday weekend, we’ve expanded our weekend post to include Monday so we could share with you some of the events and parades going on around town this weekend to commemorate those who died while serving our country in active duty in the United States Armed Forces.

Also, please be sure to scroll through the Family Friendly Cincinnati website at some point…we’ve been filling it up with even more great posts about restaurants, local parks, fun things to do and more!  AND we have FOUR giveaways going on right now, so get your name in the hat for all of those!  We have giveaways for nature guides for summer adventures: Wild Cincinnati (ends Friday!!), gift certificate to Natorp’s Nursery so you can start working on your garden, a gift card for Tire Discounters so you can take care of your car before traveling this summer, and a tasty giveaway to Honeybaked Ham.  Good luck!

And if you are planning a summer vacation but funds are tight, consider a STAYCATION right here in town!  We put together a staycation post that is gauranteed to inspire you when planning your own summer adventure plans!
